Case study · Definite
How Definite became an inbound machine
Definite is an all-in-one data platform that replaces the modern data stack. Elegant Atomics ran its positioning, knowledge graph, website, Google and AI search, search ads, and outbound and lifecycle email. Inbound demos grew from about 1 a quarter to 21.

Results cover November 2024 through the first half of 2026.
The starting point
Definite was an early-stage company in a crowded market, and its buyers had spent years assembling the stack it replaces. That made this a positioning problem first and a demand problem second. The site had about 20 pages, and about one inbound demo arrived each quarter.
Positioning and the knowledge graph
We started with positioning, then put it into a governed Spandrel knowledge graph alongside Definite's personas, objections, and evidence. Claude skills write and check content from that graph, so the site, search content, and email all make the same claims in the same language.
The website
We built all of the marketing pages, the competitor pages, the blog, and the programmatic page systems. The largest of those systems is thousands of integration pages. The site grew from about 20 pages to about 2,000 indexed pages.
Google search
Monthly search impressions grew from about 83,000 to about 556,000. Organic clicks rose about 35% over the same period. The gap between those two numbers is real: a large programmatic surface was indexed before it started converting, so we treat reach and demos as the headline results and not clicks.
AI search
Buyers increasingly ask AI assistants which tools to consider, and 40% of Definite's inbound demos came from AI search. We measure that across tracking, how-did-you-hear-about-us responses, and sales call mentions.
AI referral sessions in GA4 grew about 8× between late 2024 and the second quarter of 2026. The sources also broadened from mostly ChatGPT to include Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity.
One source of truth helps here, because assistants see consistent claims across the site. The competitor and integration pages also answer the specific questions buyers put to those assistants.
Search ads
Our search ads strategy was to own the relevant search results, with paid and organic listings working together on the queries that matter most to Definite's buyers.
We ran all of Definite's email. Outbound enriched each account, used an LLM to route it to the right segment, and sent sequences written for that segment. Warm routing moved website visitors and submissions into warm sequences. Lifecycle email followed signups and users after they entered the product.
The results
Inbound demos grew from about 1 a quarter to 21, and self-serve signups grew from about 1 a quarter to 64. Together with outbound, this work produced a multi-million-dollar pipeline.
The result held up after the funding news faded. Demos were already 5× baseline before Definite's August 2025 seed raise, and they kept climbing for four quarters afterward, from 14 to 21. Definite started with a small site and ended with an inbound machine.
