LinkedIn Post Date Extractor

Paste a LinkedIn post URL to get the exact date and time it was published.

How to get a LinkedIn post URL

1

Find the post on LinkedIn

Navigate to the post in your feed or on someone's profile.

2

Copy the link

Click the "..." menu at the top right of the post, then select "Copy link to post."

3

Paste it above

Paste the URL into the input field and click "Get Date."

How does it work?

LinkedIn post IDs are 64-bit integers generated at creation time. The first 41 bits encode a millisecond-precision Unix timestamp. This tool extracts the ID from your URL, isolates those 41 bits with a right-shift, and converts the result to a human-readable date. Everything runs in your browser. No data is sent anywhere.
